I started a new treatment for Babesia (a Lyme co-infection) on Monday. I started herxing from it yesterday. I didn’t feel as sick as I had a week ago with whatever virus I had, but it still isn’t a lot of fun. I’m having headaches, fatigue, nausea, and generally feeling unwell. I can tell it’s a herx though because it doesn’t have that viral feeling. So, I tried to take it as easy as I could yesterday. I still ended up organizing and cleaning the third bedroom, wrapping some presents, and cleaning the kitchen, which I’m proud of myself for doing since I wasn’t feeling 100%. I didn’t end up doing yoga though because I felt too off kilter, but today I kind of wish I’d done at least 15 minutes or something. I’ve decided that today, as long as I don’t start feeling too bad, I’m going to do a Vinyasa or Hatha flow.
My editor also sent me more comments for revisions yesterday, but I think that it being a holiday this week I’m going to tackle those revisions next week. Plus, I’m just not 100% right now. I also am still recovering from all the repressed memories of trauma I had yesterday that were triggered on Monday. Yesterday was just a hard day overall.
Patrick, Tempest, and Perdi (three of our cats) went in for their yearly checkup yesterday. All three were given clean bills of health by the vet overall. Patrick’s heart murmur though is back, which we need to call his cardiologist about, and Tempest has been gaining weight. Also Perdi’s red blood cells are a bit out of whack so those need to be monitored. Despite all this, the vet said that for their ages they are doing well. Which is good!
There’s still snow on the ground here. Maggie got to go out in it again yesterday but didn’t play too much in it. She was more in an investigative mode. I’m hoping to get her out for a walk later today.

Anyways, I hope that this post finds you well. Happy Holidays to those who are celebrating!
