Maggie was still struggling with her crate and keeping everyone (including herself) up all night because of it. Now that she is potty trained, though, we decided to let her sleep with us two nights ago. She actually slept about 8 hours and through the night! I was still pretty exhausted yesterday, though, because of the lack of sleep the last couple of months while she was in her crate. Last night she slept with us again, though, and slept for 8 hours again!
She seems like a totally changed dog, too, since she is getting the right amount of sleep. She is misbehaving a lot less and seems more amecable in general. It turns out that the crate just wasn’t for her I guess.
I also like having her out of the crate at night because it makes me feel safer. I like having her be able to have the run of the house, especially at night, for safety reasons.
She just left for day training with David so right now I’m trying to decide what I want to do for my day. I’m probably going to work on revising one of my books, and may do some power yoga. I still feel really exhausted though, so I don’t want to do too much. I may just end up resting all day too if I can’t shake this tiredeness.
