Maggie was barking all night long in her crate last night. It was disappointing because she’s been doing so well with crate training. She kept having to use the bathroom and wanted to drink water. So we’re not sure what’s going on with her. Hopefully her bladder crystals aren’t worsening or something.
When we dropped her off at day training this morning she was quite scared to go in and wanting to be with me and David. It was hard to leave her, but I know that they will do a good job with her. I do want her to get used to being in new environments and being around other dogs.
We’re having fun with her walks around the neighborhood. She’s slowly getting to know the neighborhood dogs and a few neighbors say hi to her by name. For me, it is really nice too to have neighbors saying hi to me on a regular basis, because I’ve been so isolated from human contact other than David for so long. So I’m finding her walks to be great!
This morning I did some power yoga, which felt really nice. I only did 20 minutes as to not overdo it. I wish that I had time to do this type of yoga more often but right now most of my spoons are going towards taking care of our pets.
Maggie also has her first grooming session tomorrow. I’ll post pictures of her afterwards!
