Lucy started throwing up multiple times on Sunday, and it continued through Monday morning. I decided to bring him into the vet ER, which is about a 25 minute drive away. We waited about four hours before he was even taken back for testing. It turned out that he is reacting to a new diet that he is on. On the way back, I was stuck in traffic. It was a long day, and I was very tired after it.
I was supposed to take Patrick to the vet today to see his Oncologist (same place, 25 minutes away), but I woke up with a sore throat and stuffiness so decided to reschedule his appointment to early next week. I took a couple of hour nap and am trying to rest today.
It sucks having CAEBV. My endurance to do anything is really low, and it doesn’t take much to flare my symptoms. On top of that, it is difficult to take care of the cats while I’m sick.
I did remember something this morning though: I like to sleep with the covers up around my shoulders and neck. For some reason I’d forgotten that as part of my amnesia that got really bad the last few years. But this morning, I pulled the covers up high while I was sleeping, and remembered how I used to always sleep that way before I forgot about it. I’m glad that my memory is coming back.
I’m going to dress the reborns here soon in New Years Eve/Holiday outfits. I don’t think that David and I are doing anything for New Year’s. We weren’t invited anywhere and didn’t invite anyone over ourselves. We thought about inviting his sister and brother in law over but David suspects that they already have plans, plus I don’t know if I’ll be up for entertaining anyways.
Hopefully tomorrow I’ll feel better. I want to be able to stick to my three days a week exercise routine.
