I can tell that I’m still withdrawing from Seroquel because I’m having such a hard time sleeping at nights. This always tends to happen to me for some time after I go off a drug like Seroquel. I went off of it about a week ago. At least my withdrawals aren’t as bad as they have been in the past when I’ve gone off it faster and not had another antipsychotic on board.
Lucy also bit me really hard in the ear at about 6:45 am this morning. I’d woken up and was trying to go back to sleep and he just chowed down on the top of my ear. It was very painful, and I was bleeding. David got up and got me a cotton swab with some rubbing alcohol on it to disinfect it (I always disinfect cat bites). Then it took me about 45 minutes to go back to sleep, which I did.
I’m unsure of what I want to do today. I’m definitely tired from the broken sleep. I may go to the gym and go on the elliptical. I also need to get a blood draw but I might wait until tomorrow to get it, just because they tried yesterday, didn’t get blood, and it was triggering for me. Because blood draws are triggers, I think I need a day break in between getting them. It’s really important for me not to get triggered so much to the point of re-traumatization.
